Short Breaks in Bexley

Short Breaks provide opportunities for disabled children and young people to spend time away from their primary carers. These include day, evening, overnight or weekend activities and take place in the child’s own home, the home of an approved carer, a residential or community setting.

Short Breaks can take place in a child’s home, with specialist support, depending upon the needs of the child or young person.  This can be in the evening, at weekends or during school holidays. Short Breaks can also include overnight stays and support via agencies.

Bexley Voice co-facilitate parent engagement meeting to discuss Short Breaks. If you would like more information, please email Laraine.bexleyvoice@hotmail.com.
