Transition to Adult Health Services - Virtual
Workshop via MS TEAMS Wednesday 13th March - 1pm-2:30pm This workshop is for parents and carers of young people aged 13-18 years of age who have Special Educational Needs or Disability. It will provide information on what to expect during the transition to adult health services and share tips and information that could be useful during transition. Key speakers will include Lindsay Malekzai, Designated Clinical Officer (DCO SEND) Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities, Bexley. Supported Internships - Virtual
Workshop via MS TEAMS Tuesday 23rd April 2024 - 10am - 11:30am This workshop is for parents and carers of young people aged 14-24 years of age who have an Education Health & Care Plan. The workshop will include information about what Supported Internships are, what is happening in Bexley and how and when young people can apply for them. The workshop will be delivered by Kayleigh Skey, Senior Quality Assurance Officer, SEND, Bexley. Workshop Bookings - Terms and Conditions:
- Places are allocated on a first come first served basis to Bexley Voice parent/carer members.
- Workshops are free of charge, a donation is always appreciated.
- Once your place is booked, if you are unable to attend, please contact us as soon as possible so that your place may be offered to another parent/carer.
- If you book a place on a workshop, but fail to attend without prior notice, you may not be able to book future workshops.
- I agree to my information being stored under the BV Privacy Policy.
- I understand confirmations are only sent if I request one by email.
- If FULLY BOOKED appears next to your required workshop, the places have already been taken. Your name will only be held on a waiting list and you will be contacted if a place becomes available.
