DONATION FROM THE MAYOR
Wording from the Mayor's FB page - The 2017/18 mayor Cllr Peter Reader and his wife were delighted to revisit Bexley Voice and present a cheque for £5,000 which will help their continuing work with children and young adults under 25. Thanks to those who supported the 2017/18 charity appeal. This volunteer led group of parents, all of whom have children with special needs and/or disabilities, have been working hard for many years to offer help and advice to other parents/carers.

SPONSORED FUN RUNS
The Fun Run is an event that Bexley Voice is proud to take part in. Bexley Voice volunteers and our families ran, jogged or walked (that was most of us!) to raise money for our charity by completing the Sidcup Christchurch 3 mile fun run.
Tea, coffee and cakes are always enjoyed by us all once we cross the finishing line.
Thank you to Sidcup Christchurch for allowing us to take part and raise money for Bexley Voice. Also to all of those who have sponsored us, it really does make a difference and allows us to provide the free service for families in Bexley.

thank you john lewis - community matters scheme
We are delighted to have received a cheque from John Lewis for £885, after voting took place at the store in Bluewater. It is part of their Community Matters Award Scheme and voting is by staff and the general public. Susan Buhagiar came to meet the BV team and present the cheque.
The donation will help us to support more families in Bexley. |

thank you jim and tracey youngs!
A big Thank You to Jim Youngs, (husband of Bexley Voice's treasurer Tracey Youngs), who this week arranged for the bank he works for to make two donations to Bexley Voice - One for £3283.51 from Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Ltd & £274.97 from Singer & Friedlander Capital Management Ltd. Making a grand total donated of £3558.48. This is a massive donation and will really make a big difference to helping support parents of children with special needs in Bexley.
